Here's some non-Blackhawks news.

I've decided to merge both of my blogs into one home. Current subscribers to Eat the Hatchet will remain subscribed to only Blackhawks stuff. Those of you who signed up for my book updates will continue to only receive those.

Only change is the domain name, and you'll see a little bit of everything on the home page.

For those of you who didn't know, I'm writing a book (well... two). This one is heavily inspired by *Halo*.

Below is the most recent update sent out to subscribers of the book stuff.

Some news for *Those Left Behind*!

Copies have been emailed to those of you who wanted to be alpha readers!

An alpha reader is basically the first person (or in this case, people) who read a book other than the author. This is the third draft and still needs a lot of fine-tuning. But I'm excited that this has moved in the right direction!

After I get feedback from alpha readers, I'll refine my draft, then look for beta readers. This will be the final step before I pursue publication.

In the meantime, I'll be turning my attention to my Afghan memoir.

Thanks to everyone who has shown interest!
